Dull Day

Bored... What are some constructive things to do?

Hey i've had a lot of free time. What are some things i can do that would fall in to the same category as building houses out of toothpicks or making rubber band balls. I just want something that is time consuming but can be very amazing or impressive when finished.

2. i heard a commercial on the radio about things to do when you are bored. one was to construct a frog habitat incase someone gives you a frog.
3. When I'm bored I play a computer game, read a book or magazine, do crossword puzzles or sudoku, listen to music, watch a movie, write in a journal or answer questions here on yahoo answers. Other options, depending on my mood might be to cook something, clean the house, go for a walk, work out, call a friend, send emails, visit someone, or even go shopping. Check out the site www.pogo.com for a variety of free games. Some people like to spend time on facebook or myspace. Writing in a journal is an interesting thing to do, especially when you go back weeks or months or years later and read what you wrote. Look for a new hobby - find something that is of particular interest to you. If you find yourself bored often consider volunteering. It will give you a new focus in your life, and it is a good feeling to help someone less fortunate. It can be a life changing experience.
